In August 2024, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on ratification of the main text of the Rome Statute and some amendments to it. This document is the charter of the International Criminal Court in The Hague (the ICC that issued the arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin).
